Make money while
making an impact

By hosting with BuurBox, you help keep your neighbor's space clear and their stuff safe. Then automatically receive payments in your bank account every month.

Get paid to store off-season clothing, holiday decor, sports equipment, heaters, air coolers, books and other non-essentials in any free space you don't use!

Whether that's an idle section of your basement, some free spots on your living room shelf, extra space in the garden shed, or an unused room from your children who moved out - you can be a host with any free space.

Make your city a better place

A CBS survey in the Netherlands shows that residents living in large homes are 25% happier than those living in small apartments.

As homes shrink in size, earn extra money while also helping out a student struggling in a 10 square meter room, a couple trying to merge their lives in a 35 sqm apartment, a young family trying to raise children in a 70 sqm home, and many others.

Frequently asked questions

Do I rent out my entire space to one renter? What about my personal belongings?

Renters only pay for the space their items occupy, therefore you do not need to clear out the entire space (basement/ attic/ shed or other) for one renter's use. You can store items for multiple renters and keep your personal belongings in your space.
